Set your intentions for an amazing day.

Organization is pivotal in creating the life that we want and it is one of the areas in which a lot of us feel challenged. Below are a few tips to help you start your day with intention and focus and move through it with grace and ease.

1. Set your daily intentions - Taking a moment when you wake to set your intentions can help pave the way for a smooth, calm, and productive day. Getting clear on the tasks you want to accomplish and visualizing them happening in an effortless manor is an invaluable tool in transforming your goals into reality.

2. Make your bed - This small and seemingly trivial detail provides a great platform on which to build a neat and organized day. There is no need to be overly concerned with perfection, just clearing the space is a simple way to bring a little organization to your life and set yourself up for a well-ordered day.

3. Pick your clothes with care - Lay your clothes out on the bed before getting in the shower. This way when you get out your clothes are ready and this adds a special quality to getting dressed. Taking a moment or two throughout your day to do small things like this can really boost your self-image and energy level.

4. Pack for your day - Make sure you have enough time in the morning to thoroughly "pack" for your day. Take a few minutes to think about what you will be doing throughout your day and what you will need for those activities. Do you have all your files and folders for work? Do you have your gym clothes? Think about the food cravings you had the day before and decide what healthy snacks you can take with you so you're prepared while on the go. Taking a few extra minutes to pack well in the morning can save enormous amounts of time and stress later on.

5. Final check-in - Before you grab your keys and head out the door, take a moment once again to meditate and check in on your day and how you want it to go. Focus on the events of your day, interacting with people, and on your schedule, and visualize open and meaningful communication, being on-time and prepared, and successfully overcoming any challenges you may be facing in your daily life. Meditating on your success and imagining these events going smoothly will enhance your progress towards this vision.

6. Have an existence structure - Have a planner, a calendar, or a phone app in which you put into existence all the things that you want to get done. Planning your time, including the time for yourself, will be an invaluable tool in achieving more than you thought possible.
